Ladle Fine Foods was the brain child of the Food Scientist and Food Safety Management Systems Auditor, Naomi Steyn. With a busy travel schedule and tricky dietary requirements, she became frustrated with the lack of quick and convenient options for people suffering with food allergies. Mentioning this to friends, colleagues and family, she realised that there were many people that shared her sentiment, many of which suffered from more than one allergy. She decided to create a range of ready meals that would cater for people suffering from the top eight food allergies in South Africa, namely gluten, egg, dairy, fish, soy, shellfish, peanuts and tree nuts. With much support ideas and dreams quickly became a reality.
